Up-cycled Blue Paint chip Magnet for WWPFG project
I love love Up-cycling things the lid I used for the base is from the icing cups in Cinabuns . we love them and I found myself feeling guilty tossing them in the trash. I colored the base with blue perm. marker , used a star folded from a magazine page (this was gave to me in a swap) then added the paint chip , glued the flowers on with botanical glue , and then used glitter glue to frame it . Added a magnet and date .done! sounds like a lot writing it down but it was actually very easy
Victorian Flower Art
Pressed Flower Art started about 500 years ago when people started collecting botanical specimens. Initially, specimens were glued on paper with a small index card indicating the plants name, location, and etc… Gradually, specimens were arranged in more artistic ways. And then Pressed Flower Art started…
In the Victorian period, pressed flower art was very fashionable among ladies.
